The first warp I ever wound (in my third weaving class at 'The Weavin' Place')...

Turned into this!  A birthday present for Carolyn...  Looks beautiful with her blue eyes!

Maybe the thing that I enjoy the most about weaving is that there is nothing 'fast' about it.  There is a pace to it -a sloooooow pace.  There's no point in rushing because... What?  You cut an hour off of a 40 hour project?  I might as well just let it take the time it takes.

This is my loom.  It's a Saori WX60.  It's portable so I can bring it on Weaving Retreat Weekends.  I bought it from The Weavin' Place.  (It's wonderful!)
